V mesecu juniju bom malo več pisala o možnostih in materialih, ki se jih lahko uporablja pri ustvarjanju z polymer clayem.
In June I'll write a bit more about some materials and the possibilities that we can use in creating with polymer clay.

Načeloma lahko z polymerom uporabljamo vse materiale, ki zdržijo temperaturo pečenja...nekaj pa je materialov in načinov, ki se jih lahko uporablja tudi po pečenju.
In principle, we can with polymer use all materials that withstand a baking temperature ... but also some of the materials that can be used after baking.

Eden takih in na mojih izdelkih največkrat uporabljenih dodatkov je oljna barva, saj z njo svoje izdelke patiniram.
One of these and one of most used on my products is oil paint.

Ponavadi barvo razrečim z oljem da je ravno prav mazava in jo nanesem z staro zobno ščetko (ali trdim čopičem) da jo potisnem v vse reže in s tem izdelku povdarim teksturo. Odvečno barvo pobrišem z mehko krpo (včasih tudi papirnato brisačo) in izdelek osušim v pečici...če mi tekstura izdelka dopušča, suh izdelek še narahlo pobrusim z srednje grobim papirjem.
Usually I dilute a paint with oil to be just right spreadable and then applied with an old toothbrush (or stiff paintbrush) to go into all the slots and emphasize the texture. Excess paint I wipe off with a soft cloth or with paper towel.
I bake polymer again to dry the remain paint ... if the texture of the product allow I also slightly sand with medium coarse sandpaper.

Na sliki je magnet/vazica narejena iz prazne žarnice oblečene v polymer. Močan magnet je skrit v rdečem polymer krogu, ki je z žico pritrjen na žarnico.
